• September 6-8 // Theme: Play Skills // Pre-K - 1ST Grade

In our play skills bootcamps, we teach a variety of skills for preschool through first graders, offer supervised practice in play, and provide immediate feedback on behaviors in a supportive environment. Your young child will learn crucial play skills including how to invite friends to play, how to follow rules, how to take turns and share, and more. This group provides a solid foundation from which your child will build strong social skills as they grow up!

• September 13-15 // Theme: Anxiety/Stress Management // 2ND - 3RD Grade

During our anxiety and stress management bootcamps, we’ll focus on teaching your child to identify their common stressors, stress responses, and how to use coping skills. This bootcamp focuses on the prevention of stress within specific scenarios, and teaches children how to recognize and cope with anxiety in one-time and ongoing situations they may otherwise avoid.

For National Bullying Prevention Month, our bootcamps focus on the variety of ways bullying can occur between peers. Your child will learn how to recognize and prevent bullying if it is happening to them or others, and coping skills if they or a friend are being bullied.

• December 13-15 // Theme: Independence/Self-Management // High School Teens

Our independence and self-management bootcamp focus on teaching high school students essential skills to prepare for living independently and life after high school. Topics covered include goal setting, time management strategies, budgeting, self-monitoring, and any specific concerns participants bring to the group. Common requests from past participants include phone call etiquette for scheduling appointments, how to take public transportation, and how to be a courteous roommate.
